Welcome to NCEA Level 2 Health

with Eliot Smith

This course emphasises:

  •  the bigger picture stuff around socio-ecological perspectives
  •   attitudes and values (especially social justice)
Hauora takes a back seat and is implicit in everything. There is an increasing emphasis on the societal influences on well-being - especially political, economic and cultural determinants and how many of the social determinants influence well-being and are themselves a consequence of other political, economic and cultural factors.
